Welcome to Jitsu at University of London Union
Jitsu is a defensive martial art which uses a dynamic system of strikes, locks and throws to subdue an opponent or attacker. Jitsu isn’t strength based and adopts the principle of using the attacker’s strength and momentum against them. You do not need to be well-built for Jitsu to work for you.
Our club was founded in 1995 and is made up of men and women of all shapes, ages and backgrounds and is a friendly and welcoming place to train. ULU Jitsu club is co-ordinated and supervised by The Jitsu Foundation.
We train every Wednesday (20:00-22:00) and Sunday (16:00-19:00) at Energy Base Gym, University of London Union.
The first session is free, so why not come along and have a go? All you need is some loose clothing (tracksuit bottoms and an old T-shirt are ideal).
For more information, have a look at the page devoted to your first session.
If you still have a question, please email it to the Committee.
