Welcome to University of London Jitsu
Jitsu is a defensive martial art which uses a dynamic system of strikes, locks and throws to subdue an opponent or attacker. Jitsu adopts the principle of using the attacker’s strength and momentum against them. It will work for you no matter what your size and strength.
Our club was founded in 1995 and is made up of men and women of all shapes, ages and backgrounds and is a friendly and welcoming place to train. UL Jitsu club is co-ordinated and supervised by The Jitsu Foundation.
We train every Wednesday (20:00-22:00) and Sunday (16:00-19:00) at Energy Base Gym, Student Central.
The first session is free, so why not come along and have a go? All you need is some loose clothing (tracksuit bottoms and an old T-shirt are ideal).
For more information, have a look at the page devoted to your first session.
If you still have a question, please email it to the Committee.
